  Finding a speech-language pathology facility for your child or love ones can be a challenge. We all want to know that we are at the right place for services and all concerns pertaining to our child’s speech and language development are appropriately met, if possible. I would highly recommend Capital Area Speech for individuals seeking to receive speech and language services. The team members at Capital Area Speech are very approachable and kind. They all provide quality services, from the receptionists (who are always there to answer any insurance questions and help with scheduling) down to the therapists (who provide quality therapeutic services). I love that every child that comes to this facility thinks that they are there to play and don’t realize they are working hard. The clients are encouraged to enter the therapy room with praises from the clinicians such as “Are you ready to go play?” or “lets go play!” This truly provides children with the excitement that learning is fun which enhance their chances of cooperating throughout sessions. I can’t stress this enough, Capital Area Speech truly has some amazing therapists. They are friendly, polite and you can see that they genuinely enjoy what they do and the clients they serve. When I had opportunities to observe some therapists, I saw that their activities were structured in such a way that clients had fun while doing them while meeting their specific needs. Also, they have so much great equipment! Each time I came to this facility there was always something new that grabs each client’s interest.
