  We moved into Estancia for just a few months while our house was getting built. At that time I would have rated them 5 stars. Layouts were great, pet friendly, nice pool and pretty quiet. Now to the drama....
  
  At the end of November my husband got a job transfer that would move us half way across the country, our lease wasn't up until February. We talked to the ladies who work there and decided collectively that it was better financially to just "take our time moving" aka....move out but pay rent until the end of our lease. It was VERY expensive to "break" the lease. My husband and I moved out December 7th. The move was very expensive so we TOLD the ladies that we would paying rent late but we will still would pay out our full lease. They said that was fine. So....Dec. 31st rolls around and I am now living half way across the country. I check my mail and I have a bill from Estancia saying I "broke my lease", that I left town and that we owe them $7,056.52.
  
  This is real. I wish I could post a picture onto this review so you could see the dates for yourself. Dec 7th we moved and told them rent would be late and then Dec. 31st we "broke" our lease and had to pay obscene amounts of money. I could understand if we just up and left but we talked to them about it and they knew what was going on. Not once did they send us a letter of their intent to charge us 7k. Not once did they call me. They claim they called my husband....I don't believe that for a second.
  
  They are opportunist who will take full advantage of the situation. I am writing this post on January 24th...still 2.5 weeks until our lease was officially up. This is not the kind of company I would recommend.
