This doctor is just horrible. My dear friend is dead now. If you want to die a slow painful death while making Punit Chadha wealthy... go see him. My friend discovered he had cancer at the young age of 31, and when he first met Punit Chadha he asked if M.D. Anderson would be a better choice for his care.

Big surprise: the brilliant doctor decided to string my friend along for as much insurance money as he could get rather than do what was best for him. He suffered for years while this crackpot kept information hidden and continuously treated him with no results. He sure didn't have a problem charging his insurance for every piddly little thing, though. When we visited M.D. Anderson in Houston they actually told us that Chadha made the cancer WORSE by his ineptitude.

If you or a loved one has cancer, please ignore this guy and seek proper help elsewhere.

And every time the doctor was able to grace my friend with his presence, he always had a minion there to transcript the meeting. This made everything feel extremely uncomfortable and disingenuous.

It just seemed like Dr. Chadha didn't care at all, he always forgot who my friend was when they had an appointment. I guess keeping people sick is a lucrative business. After all, how else will be pay for his fabulous vacations twice a year?

Also, he doesn't communicate at all with other doctors. After he already had a failed stem cell transplant, Chadha sent us all the way to San Antonio for a consultation in getting another transplant using a donor. When we arrived, the San Antonio Dr. told us that he doesn't know why we were even sent there. He said another stem cell transplant would be pointless. Oh, isn't that something he could have told us over the phone? He actually said, "Why are you here? I don't know why Dr. Chadha sent you here. We can't help you."

Thank you Chadha for wasting our time and money.

Bottom line: Chadha should have admitted he wasn't the best choice for my friend's particular cancer treatment and saved everyone a lot of grief.
