  My wife and I had saved up for over a year to take a trip to mexico. We were very excited as this was our first time going there. two week after booking we found out she was pregnant. Our doctor told us there was no way that we could go to mexico, especially Hautulco due to how bad the area has been hit with Zika. We got the doctor to write a note with official letterhead and sign it stating that we could not go on the trip. I called customer service and the said that if I wrote an email to customer care and attached the letter then I should receive a refund. I got the email back and it basically said your stuck, no refund. They would give me an airline credit (no help because we cannot use it in the year that they gave us, she just found out she is pregnant!) and even if we could use the credit they would charge us $200 per ticket to reschedule. That's $400 total..
  Our trip is now 2 weeks away and we cannot go. I am just out the money. So much for saving for a wonderful vacation. I cannot use their credit and even if I could it wouldn't even be worth it.
  I am very disappointed considering almost every other airline has a refund policy for Zika. I will NEVER fly Aeromexico again.
